Your Windows PC does not manage Internet connections
as optimally as possible. WebWorks allows you to
change certain Windows Registry settings that affect
Internet connection speed through a simple, intuitive
interface, thereby significantly boosting your
Internet performance to its potential for your
connection type. All connection types are supported
with specific optimization settings that can be rolled
back to pre-installation
values in a single click. Current settings can be
viewed along with recommended settings, which are also
accessible through an Advanced Accelerator control,
which allows manual tweaking for power users. A built
in Speedtest can be used to compare performance before
and after.
WebWorks also provides one-click access to your
Internet properties, your System properties, your
Modem settings, and your IP configuration control
panel. You can use the Keep-connection Alive feature
to prevent lost or dropped dial-up connections, and
even dial your modem from WebWorks. Also, two stay-on-
top meters can be launched to show your CPU activity
and your Internet Lag time.
