NetWalk
-
Version
Ever wondered what's up with the computer puzzle game
industry today?
Does it seem to you that modern products have more of
graphic-and-sound extravaganza that of actual
substance? Do you still remember those addictive mind-
benders that were so easy to learn and so hard to
master? If the answer to any of these is 'yes',
Netwalk may be just the game you have been looking
for. The game goal is easy - connect each computer on
the grid field to the central server by adjusting and
turning the network pieces scattered around. It looks
very familiar to those who used to play Pipe Dreams,
but it behaves very different.
What is in this game? Extremely easy rules, simple
logic, endless millions of possible combinations.
Absolute freedom for the player. What is NOT in the
game? Ridiculous hardware requirements, endless FMV
scenes, forced storyline, bad acting. All factors
detracting from the classic puzzle-solving fun.
After all the latest high-priced multi-CD FMV
monstrosities, Netwalk's genuine simplicity is really
refreshing.
