SimplyFS is designed to be used with Versions 7.x and
8.x of Accpac International's Simply Accounting
software.
The program prints financial statements using the
Simply Accounting data in a format that is appropriate
for "Notice to Reader" or "Compilation" engagements.
The program allows you to group accounts together and
present the total of those groups on the financial
statements. The group descriptions that appear on the
financial statements are editable by you in this
program, so even if you only put one of the client's
accounts in the group, you can modify the description
to suit external presentation.
The program also allows you "flip" accounts with
negative balances. For example, setting the flip
property on the Cash group will automatically present
it as a current liability when cash is in a negative
position (i.e. bank is overdrawn) -- this happens
without you having to make any entries in Simply
Accounting! See Flip for more details on how this

The printed financial statements include the Notice to
Reader, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet.
