With Active Vocab you can archive and learn
vocabulary. The vocabulary will be entered into your
vocab database along with any number of additional
information, you want to store. For entering your
data, a number of handy helpers are available, that
make the editing of your vocabulary very easy. In the
Trainer you can study the vocabulary and test your
skills. The program remembers, which vocabulary you
have problems with, by processing an error score for
each vocab. You can select the vocabulary, that you
want to work with, by any attribute as well as a range
of error scores. You can assign any number of
synonyms to a vocab. When in the vocab test you type
in a synonym instead of the actually expected
expression, then the Trainer realizes this. You can
also create relations between vocabs, like "oppposite
of", "same word - different meaning" and the like.
Having established such relationships, the Trainer
will also realize it, if you type in an expression
with similar or different meaning, instead of the
actual expression required.
