QueryODBC
-
Version
3.3.8
QueryODBC allows you to work with any ODBC compliant
or OLE DB compatible database, as well as Microsoft
services such as Microsoft Indexing Service and
Microsoft Active Directory Service. With QueryODBC
you can explore your database’s schema, and execute
asynchronous queries, SQL commands and SQL scripts on
your database. As you type SQL commands, QueryODBC
analyzes your SQL code and highlights keywords,
comments and character strings.
QueryODBC displays query results in a grid
(spreadsheet) and allows you to insert, delete, and
edit records by typing or copying and pasting in the
grid. You can also sort, reformat, sum and search the
results within the grid. Query results can be saved
to a file in ADO, HTML, text or SQL format, or copied
to the clipboard. Results saved in ADO format can be
used to move your data from one table, database or
database provider to another (i.e. migrate from MS
Access to Oracle, Oracle to MS SQL Server, etc.).
Results saved in HTML format are saved as a web page,
and are formatted based on a fully customizable HTML
template file. Results saved in SQL format are saved
as SQL INSERT statements. Binary Large Object (BLOB)
data can be edited, inserted, viewed, copied or saved
to a file using the view detail (BLOB) window.
QueryODBC allows you to run previously saved queries,
commands and scripts, and save new queries, commands
and scripts to a file. QueryODBC's previous and next
options allow you to efficiently re-run queries,
commands and scripts executed during the current
session.
