Spam Hunter – is tool used for battling SPAM
(unsolicited mail) right in your mailbox. It allows
detection of unwanted e-mail messages and lets you
choose what to do with such messages. Spam Hunter can
either delete unwanted messages without downloading
them or show a spam alert message.
Mail clients use blocking filters to disallow unwanted
messages. However, to filter the message a mil client
has to download the whole message. Unlike usual mail
clients Spam Hunter receives only message headers.
This small part of a message is generally enough to
determine whether the message is worth downloading or
it is spam. This approach allows you to save money on
network traffic, your precious time and nerves.
