ID Shutdown Manager has been designed to log-off,
reboot, shutdown, switch-on (Wake on LAN), audit
hardware/software or execute programs remotely on
networked computers running Microsoft Windows from a
remote location on a network.
Advanced features include thoughtful items such as
full command line options for scheduling etc., user
warnings/messaging, serialized security, and remote
client installation.
Up to 9999 clients can be serviced from one GUI
manager console and arranged in folder groupings of up
to 99 client PCs. When the client is installed for
NT/2000/XP it can run as a NT service; command line
operation of the manager is also possible for
scheduling actions. Remote Shutdown Manager is
particularly useful for enforcing system policy for
backups or security. Shutdown manager now has an
optional web-based interface that supports multiple
users with a range of permissions. Two licenses free
or a thirty day evaluation version are available.
Comprehensive system auditing includes: Host name,IP
Address, MAC Address of network card ,Computer Name,
Operating System and Service Pack, Processor Type,
Number of Processors, Physical Memory in Kb, Disks
Drives and Partition information including media type,
connected network drives, volume labels and serial
numbers, size and free space, Primary Display Adapter
model, Operating System Registered User and Company,
Windows start time, Currently logged in user and
domain.
Elect to warn users of shutdown/reboot/log-off
operations or force immediately with no warning. Allow
or prevent user cancellation.
Scrolling Messages: An optional scrolling message may
be sent with each command, or by itself.
'NOW' client command line client options shutdown
individual computers from command console.
