DB Companion is a database utility that enables
database administrator's to schedule routine
maintenance for Microsoft Access databases. DB
companion has the ability to compact, repair and
backup databases at a scheduled time.
DB Companion also has the ability to send messages to
active database users and can disconnect problem
users (NT, 2000, XP only).
By doing routine maintenance on Access databases, an
administrator can reduce the chance of corruption and
increase the performance of the database. This in
turn, increases productivity and reduces
troubleshooting time.
