  VB.IDE Macro Studio  -  Version  1.3

VB.IDE Macro Studio is a major productivity tool that can be used with Visual Basic 5 and 6. The VIMS integrates seamlessly into the Visual Basic development environment. The VIMS architecture has been designed to take maximum advantage of Visual Basic 5's and 6's 32- bit environment. VIMS gives the Visual Basic developer direct access - through VBScript - to the Visual Basic IDE, allowing the developer to create cool utilities that can speed up project development. Its plug-in architecture will allow future VIMS components to be created and delivered in the timeliest manner.

The VIMS macro plug-in architecture utilises the 'CommandBar' object so your macros can seamlessly integrate with the rest of the Visual Basic IDE and even byway of shortcut key assignment. VIMS also includes an integrated dockable toolbox - similar in concept to the Visual Basic toolbox - that gives you macro organisation and a single access point to all VIMS features and tools.

The design time environment is the VBScript Macro Facility with a simplified tool development process and architecture. VIMS will let you write your own utilities without the extra overhead of creating a Visual Basic Add-In and this is done directly inside the Visual Basic Design Time Environment. The VIMS environment completely exposes the Visual Basic IDE along with other libraries that further assist you in creating cool tools. Libraries such as, the SSForms library, that enables you to create simple user interfaces for your macros. All you have to do is write the functionality you need and VIMS takes care of the turning the macros into cool utilities. You are able to group macros into Macro Suites, whereby allowing you to share macros within a project team or throughout an organisation.
