The Windows 2000 Resource Kit shutdown tool, on
steroids! Shutdown, and optionally reboot, local and
remote Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 systems. Target
multiple systems at the same time from a simple GUI.
Dynamic web page results. Use the built-in PING
feature to verify selected systems were properly
shutdown.
Magic packets can be sent to WOL-enabled adapters
across the network bringing systems to life. After
hour; on weekends; when traffic is slower on the
network and most people aren't at work. Remotely
power on workstations to perform system management
routines, transfer files, gather inventory
information, and other related tasks.
Shutdown/Restart hundreds of systems at the click of
a button. Flexible filters target specific systems.
Web Page Results displays success and/or failure of
each shutdown/restart. Ping selected systems to
ensure shutdown was successful. Send Wake-on-LAN
packets to enabled adapters across the network. A
very powerful tool, use with caution!
