Atropos-SB is a multi-channel system to record and
archive sound. The system records sound data (such as,
speech, discussions, telephonic conversation, etc.)
received through microphone, telephone, voice modem,
radio stations or others sources of recordable sound
and stores the data on personal computer in the
digital format. You can use Atropos-SB as phone
logger, automatic dictaphone or voice notebook. The
system is a complex on the basis of PC-compatible
personal computer equipped by the sound card. For
multichannels mode it is necessary to install several
sound cards in your computer. The information on the
recorded talks is kept in the database. Viewing the
database and talks playing are possible without
interrupting the information recording. The database
does not occupy much room: owing to the Voice
Activated System (VAS) recording starts only with a
signal while the algorithms sound compression,
essentially reduce the necessary disk space
dimension. The program works in the background mode
and nearly does not load the processor (it's used less
than 1% Intel Celeron TM 1000 MHz power). So, your
computer can be properly used without hindrances.
Also you can use Atropos-SB in Web-monitoring mode:
using any IP-connection (e.g. direct modem connection,
LAN, Internet) you can monitor remote Atropos-SB
situated at a distance of thousands kilometres! Or in
Web-report mode: remote Atropos-SB can send all
records from the daily database on the Web-monitor
itself. No special knowledge is needed to use the
system. The system works in automatic mode and does
not require special service, as well.
