  PacMania II  -  Version  2.0

Original Pac-man was created in 1980 by a Japanese company Namco. Pac-Man's form and color resemble a pizza missing one piece. Namco's designer Tohru Iwatani hit upon the idea when eating a pizza. The rest belongs to history. The brand name Pac-Man is licensed by more than 250 companies and is used in more than 400 products. There are Pac-Man air fresheners, telephones, corn flakes and even automobiles. The name itself originated from a Japanese word "paku-paku", which means "eating". In PacMania we keep running through the intimidating labyrinth together with Pacman, eating the dots and hunting the evil monsters. The game play is a suspenseful 3D-style modern remake of the original 1980 Pac-Man adventures with a number of exciting novelties. The first novelty is 3D environment. The main character, the galleries' walls and bonuses are presented in 3D-style with shadows and lights. The combination of stylish sound effects and 3D design create the unique atmosphere of PacMania 2, which has something from a puppet-show with a bent to mysticism. The game can be run in two modes - "classical" for those longing for sweet nostalgia; and "new" for young fun seekers. There also is a special CarMania mode- for those of you, who love cars more then pizza. The second novelty, featured in PacMania 2, is a chance to exchange roles with the monsters. Some dots, when swallowed by our hero, turn all the monsters chasing after him into defenceless victims. So now you can start hunting for monsters! But beware - each "eaten" monster soon returns to the game in its "blood-thirsty" incarnation. Racing through the labyrinth becomes some sort of a strategic problem. You have a few seconds to answer the key question "To eat or not to eat?" Start your journey now to find out the answer!
