The IT Managerâ„¢ was designed to help effectively and
efficiently manage change and growth in IT Manager
resources and other vital information on a daily basis
allowing that information to be added, modified, or
viewed with minimal effort. A resource can be a piece
of hardware, a staff member, a location, or a vendor.
The tool was intended to track information relevant to
everyday operations of IT departments in a way that
nothing else ever has before. There is the ability to
enter hardware and relevant component, application,
and backup information, staff information with
respective skills, responsibilities, and schedules,
vendor and location information, and a comprehensive
method for defining tasks and assigning
responsibilities for those tasks. Acquisition
information is automatically created for hardware,
components, and applications allowing further
definition of these pieces like when acquired, cost,
warranty, maintenance and vendor information. In
addition, every piece of information that is added,
changed, or deleted is written to a history log that
displays the type of event, who performed it, when it
happened, and before and after pictures of the data.
All of these functions have been designed around an
easy to navigate user interface.
