Matrix Calculator
-
Version
1.1
Matrix calculator operations include: transpose,
invert, scale, compute determinant and trace,
adjoint, multiply, add, and subtract. Matrices can be
saved to a text file for future sessions. A delimiter
can be specified to separate elements of the matrix
in the input or output text file. A help file is
provided with examples. The precision of the computed
matrix can be determined interactively before it is
saved. The size of the matrix is only limited by the
size of the computer memory and the limits of the
MSFlexgrid. The columns of the matrix grid can be
resized and the matrix calculator can be resized. The
minimum and maximum values in a computed matrix are
reported as part of the output. A default naming
convention is used for output matrices based upon the
name(s) of the input matrix/matrices. A description
of the matrix is optional information that can be
saved with the matrix. This software is ideal for
students studying matrix algebra or applying matrix
algebra in fields of study such as science,
engineering, surveying and physics.
