SendToWeb v1.1  -  Version  1.1 SendToWeb What is a desktop upload package. With this new feature in V1.1 you can Build up a list of files into a package and deposit it into a folder on your desktop. Which will allow you to upload files directly from your desktop without ever having to load a FTP Client For Example.html page which I upload daily to my site. With SendToWeb V1.1 the days of uploading via an ftp client are over. what SendtoWeb does is it builds a mini Ftp Client Based on a Icon. When you click on the icon on your desktop It knows which serverto connect to where to place the files and does it with out any human intervention. The Icon package also has password protection in the event of some one trying to upload data to your site. There isn`t a limit to how many Upload Package Icons you can create. But the number of files per package is a maxium of 160 files. You can also have multiple package files pointing to a number of different sites. The software allows you to drag these upload icons anywhere.. How To Create A Upload Package... Lets get started by default your Password Is GUEST This password is required to gain access to your STW ADMIN This button is on your Tool Bar. Click on the button and a window will appear type GUEST you have now enabled a Menu Item called [ Generate Direct Upload Package ] This option controls access and generates the Upload Icon Package. The option can be found on your local drive pane when you write click on the window. Within SendToWeb. If you want to change the password from Guest to your password which we adviceclick on the arrow next to STW ADMIN type in GUEST then your new password.Before we build a upload package connect to the site where you want to generate a Upload Package Icon. Once you are connected select the Remote Folder in the top left pane. The folder you select will be your target folder where the Upload Package will pace its Documents. Now in the select the files on your local drive use the Bottom right pane or the left treeview. Then highlight the files you want to generate a Upload Packagefor. Then with the mouse right click on the window and click on [ Generate Direct Upload Package ] A large window will appear.This is your upload manager. At the bottom you will notice a list of files these are the files which will be placed on your site. The window above your filelist contains a tree structure this is where you will place the Upload Package Icon. Above that you will see the target server name.The package will connect to the target path where the data will be place and a description. Change the description to reflectthe type of data you are uploading or call it want you want. Also you will notice a password option click on the box to make the password box available then type the password you want to use for this package.Now select the target folder then press the button marked [ Build Icon For Direct Upload ]. The software will go away and generate the Icon Upload Package.Its that simple. Closedown SendToWeb. All you have to do now is click on the folder on your desktop called [ Cjpsoftware Direct Upload Directory ] Select the folder where you placed the Upload Package you will be promted with a password if you requested a password.And it will now upload the data to your site. You can move these Upload Packages rename them change the tree names restructure the desktop folder. Add new folders. SendtoWeb will pick up any changes you make.
