RouteWriter is a new add-in for Microsoft MapPoint
that exports route waypoints and matching pushpins to
either an Excel spreadsheet or to a text file.
Although MapPoint has an 'export to Excel' option,
this is incapable of exporting pushpins in route
order. RouteWriter exports the waypoints/pushpins in
route order.
RouteWriter can also write rest breaks, the waypoint
distance, time, coordinate, address data, and all
available pushpin data fields. It can also batch over-
ride the stop times, and calculate the optimum
waypoint order if required.
It is possible for multiple pushpins with duplicate
names to match each waypoint. RouteWriter has an
option to choose the closest pushpin of those that
have matching names.
