solution for you. WebGate can act as a messaging
gateway between your wireless messaging devices
(pagers, mobile phones, etc.) and your company's
intranet, or the Internet. Even if your company only
has numeric pagers, using WebGate is a great way to
let you know when that important email has arrived.
WebGate is a fast, easy, and reliable way to stay in
contact with your out-of-office personnel. With
WebGate's webpage interface individual webpages can be
automatically created for each of your company's
employees. Group webpages and webpages with drop-down
lists can also be automatically created and maintained
by WebGate.
WebGate's email interface is capable of using several
different methods to relay messages to you wireless
messaging devices. For each recipient (pager, mobile
phone, etc.) WebGate can collect email messages from
one or more existing email accounts. WebGate can act
as an internet mail server and receive email messages
from any other standard email server (MS Exchange,
Netscape, Unix sendmail, etc.) or email client (MS
Outlook, Netscape Messenger, Eudora, etc.). WebGate
can even be setup to collect all the email for your
entire internet domain from a single mailbox at your
Internet Service Provider or Webpage Hosting Company.
WebGate includes many high-end features like multiple
modem support (up to 16), intelligent message queuing,
on-call groups, comprehensive message logging and
reporting, remote administration and monitoring, etc.
WebGate also supports several message delivery options
such as: TAP/IXO/PET support, email delivery support,
numeric pager support, and direct cable connection
support. WebGate is easily scaleable to support high
throughput installations.
