Microsoft Media Player
-
Version
7.0 Beta
In the past, you had to download and configure multiple players to view all of the different types of multimedia content. Each file format required its own player, wasting valuable system resources and wasting your time. With the new Microsoft Media Player, you can play streamed multimedia content in addition to local multimedia file types, all from one, easy-to-use application. It has all the features found in each of the other multimedia players, plus a whole lot more. It upgrades the existing Windows Media Player to provide convenient access to NetShow Advanced Streaming Format (ASF) content and supports most local and streamed multimedia file types, including WAV, AVI, QuickTime, and RealAudio and RealVideo.
