Test Generator (TG) enables users to create, deliver
and administer tests and surveys over a single desktop,
network, Intranet or Internet. User applications
include the creation and delivery of tests, quizzes,
exams, assessments, surveys and questionnaires.
Audience: trainers, educators, parents/students and
individuals. TG is used in corporate/HR training,
government/military, K-12 education and health care
organizations.
Features include 11 question types (multiple choice,
checkboxes, true/false, fill in the blank, short
answer, ordering, matching, point and click, essay,
numeric and likert), randomization, question banks,
weighted question and answer scoring, import/export of
tests, reports, users and media. Printing: test/test
key and reports. Feedback options include text, media
and URL linking. Test taking sessions are scored
automatically and results are available after the test
has been submitted. Users can also create and publish
surveys as separate events, or as part of a test.
Administrative-level security options include: creating
users (assigning username/password), controlling
enrollment at a Class and Test level,
activating/de-activating tests, enabling/disabling user
access, assigning permissions. Test takers (students,
trainees) can only access the test-taking module
(Tester). TG Web includes an optional SecureTG browser
for high stakes testing. SSH authentication/encryption
also possible.
Test Generator is a single product and four different
delivery solutions: 1)TG Desktop - single computer 2)TG
LAN - small or large network 3)TG Web - Web
(Intranet/Internet) testing 5)ST - CD or non-networked
test delivery. TG Desktop and TG LAN are Windows
applications. TG Web includes a Windows test
creation/administrative client and an Internet,
browser-based, java Tester. Customers can migrate
their testing from TG Desktop to either TG LAN or TG Web.
