My wife took a Yoga class not long ago. I asked her
what they did at the class and by the time I heard
about her class I decided that I really did not
understand anything she said. This caused me to do a
little research to find out just what Yoga is all
about. Here are a few things I discovered.
Yoga dates back millennia. Some say that it goes back
over five thousand years. It’s believed that yoga
originally developed in India. It is supposed to help
develop suppleness, strength and relaxation and also
relieve stress. After learning this, I was all for my
wife continuing on with her classes.
Yoga started out in the East as a spiritual practice
focusing on meditation, but in the West it is normally
seen as a physical practice, for the benefit of
staying healthy and in shape. It consists of ancient
theories, observations, and principles about the mind
body connection which is now being studied and proven
