GoItaly - Version 1.1 GoItaly Many people love Italy, its landscapes, its culture, its architecture and often its language too. Unfortunately, Italian is a very complex tongue, both in terms of syntax and grammar and in terms of pronunciation. GoItaly - which is not a translator - is designed to help people who want, using a dictionary, to speak Italian to get a right pronunciation of a number of common words and expressions. Current version of GoItaly includes a generic database about 1000 words by means of which one can build thousands of sentences that will be pronounced in a correct North Italian style. Sentences are automatically checked, as an option, also from a basic grammatical point of view. Furthermore, sentences can be saved on disk in order to build a personal database. Future version will include special databases oriented to commerce, history, architecture and so on. The use of GoItaly is particularly useful for teachers or, more generally, for people who plan a travel to Italy and need to improve their pronunciation.
