Interleave - Version 1.2 Designed especially for video images. Video images are interleaved. This refers to the way that video images are created. Each image is composed of two separate images (or frames) interlaced into one image. The odd lines (assuming that the topmost line is the first line ... line 1) are composed of the first image and the even lines are composed of the second image. The second image occurs 1/30th of a second after the first. Because of this time shift in the images, any movement results in a 'smeared' image.
