playwave - Version 1.0 Gateway to Learning Playwave Playwave was designed from an original idea that was given to me by my daughter's speech therapist which has proved an invaluable aid in teaching people with learning difficulties. When this programme was shown to my 6 year old son it proved such a success that the programme was then given to teachers within that age group who further endorsed the programme as a teaching aid for Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils.
