A powerful and easy to use encryption program. It lets you encrypt your files using strong cryptography algorithms like Blowfish, CAST, SAFER-SK128, Twofish and more. You can choose from 28 different algorithms. The password used to encrypt your files is first encrypted using the selected algorithm, and then hashed by SHA1 (Secure Hash Algorithm) using a 160bit digest. WinSafe doesn't just allow you to encrypt ordinary files like most other cryptography applications do. There are even special encryption interfaces for different type of files. One interface for encrypting all file types, one for images and another for text. When you after encrypting an image or text file want to view it, it will be decrypted in memory, so no temporary files are ever created. WinSafe also has a number of tools you can use. You can for example wipe files (Secure delete), merge files, scan for files encrypted with WinSafe on your harddrives. And create self-decrypting executables, this means that you can encrypt your files into one single encrypted executable and send to your friends. They don't even need to have WinSafe installed to be able to decrypt the files.
