Shut Down or Restart Now (SDRN) allows the home and/or
business user to schedule a computer or multiple local
area networked computers to power on, power off,
restart, log off, hibernate, or suspend at any
specified time and day of the week. SDRN takes full
advantage of the Windows Network by allowing
administrators to power on using wake on LAN, shut
down, restart, or log off by MAC address, IP address,
and computer name.
SDRN will automatically locate computers on the LAN,
acquire their IP addresses, MAC addresses, and names
from those systems on the network for the
administrator's convenience. SDRN provides the option
of forcing all other programs to terminate when
shutting down, restarting, or logging off. SDRN
includes features such as: the option to send a warning
message to other computers on the network and password
protection. SDRN saves your preferences for automated,
repetitive weekly Power ONs and shutdowns to allow for
an uninterrupted automated process.
