The program has been designed as universal program for
surveillance cross platforms running all together with
wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-boards, capture
cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web
interface with the equal look and functionality on the
local and remote computers. Customers view MPEG-4 coded
video and have full management of the software via net
that surveillance station can be operated with no
screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s
modular configuration extensively improves reliability
because all components act as independent software. If
one unit fails, other components go on working. For
instance if the `capture` part freezes, `watchdog`
starts over it immediately that viewers don`t notice
anything because they are viewing picture using a
`playback` part. The program makes `repeated`
recording that the `hard drive full` situation never
occurs. The recording can be non-stop or it can be
started by motion, human face recognition, or by
calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm
recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy
and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as
on distant computer through Web interface. The
program makes simultaneous video playback for event
analysis from multiple webcams at the same time. Also
recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face
detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and
password protected.
