The program has been designed as universal program for
security hybrid platforms running all together with
wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-cards,
capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has
web interface with the similar appearance and
functionality on the local and distant workstations.
Customers watch MPEG-4 coded video and have complete
control of the program via net that surveillance
station can be operated without screen, keyboard, and
mouse attached. Program`s modular composition
considerably improves reliability because all units
work as independent software. If one unit stops
working, other components keep on running. For example
if the `capture` unit stops working, `watchdog` starts
again it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything
because they are watching video using a `playback`
part. The software makes `repeated` recording that
the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The
recording can be non-stop or it can be started by
activity, human face recognition, or by schedule. The
program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing
back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the
surveillance server as well as on remote computer
through Web interface. The program performs
synchronized video playback for event examination from
many cameras concurrently. Also recorded files can be
searched by date, time or by face detected. All
recorded information can be encrypted and password
protected.
