The program has been created as universal program for
surveillance cross platforms functioning concurrently
with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-cards,
capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has
web interface with the same look and functionality on
the local and apart pcs. Users see MPEG-4 coded picture
and have complete management of the program through net
that security pc can be run with no monitor, keyboard,
and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure
significantly increases reliability because all
components operate as autonomous programs. If one unit
stops working, other modules go on working. For example
if the `record` component fails, `watchdog` starts over
it right away that users don`t notice anything because
they are viewing picture via a `playback` part. The
software makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full`
situation never happens. The recording can be constant
or it can be triggered by movement, human face
recognition, or by calendar. The program has
pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back
recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the
surveillance station as well as on apart computer
through Web interface. The software performs
synchronized video playback for event examination from
multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded files
can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All
recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
