The Lepide Exchange Manager or LEM is blended with
commanding features and advance methodologies which
make it highly efficient in resolving Exchange Server
issues while maintaining the recovery server without
needing brick level backup. The software is capable to
search multiple backups simultaneously and restores
them in new PST or EDB file.
With convenient reporting approach, it generates error
reports at the Exchange Server side and converts
unusable EDB to PST in order to revive the database. It
also helps in reducing mailbox size by deleting unused
mails or moving mails to another PST file. The email
regulatory facility and disaster recovery mechanism of
this software further contribute in saving resources as
well as money.
There are three basic operations that LEM performs
which are Exchange Recovery, Restore from Backup and
eDiscovery. In the first phase, the software extracts
all or particularly chosen mailboxes to restore them to
new PST file and mount offline EDB file. During backup
restoration process, it completely restores data from
backup without having recovery server. It restores
entire or only selected mailbox and restores
attachments, contacts, calendar items and other
elements of EDB file. With the facility of EDB to PST
conversion, it copies mailboxes from un- mounted EDB
files to PST or Live Exchange Server while restoring
complete OST file. The eDiscovery feature is the unique
one that has been added to this software and is
responsible for searching data from Live Exchange
Server or backup EDB file. It also imports messages
from hard disk or vice versa.
