The portfolio manager 'AkMan' is a simple and flexible
management and
analysis utility for shareholders and investors.
Every portfolio you want to manage is saved in a
portfolio data
file. Like in a card-index cabinet, you create
a 'card' for each type
of stocks or shares owned. On each card you note
payments for
purchases, receipts from sales, dividends, banking or
broker fees etc.
The portfolio manager AkMan
- stores this data
- creates a sorted summary or print-out featuring
your effective
average prices and other key data
- helps with decisions concerning sales or
additional purchases
- calculates your effective yield for each stock
You can also
- let AkMan add up your profits/losses,
dividends, and the
capital presently invested in a portfolio
- analyze your portfolio graphically in many ways
- calculate the total value of your portfolio at
today's prices
(e.g. copied from a newspaper or imported from
the Internet)
