Java voice streaming applet  -  Version  1.2 Java applet downloads the compressed voice with 4800bps bitrate, decompress and playbacks it in real- time. User may add applet to Web site for starting of voice streaming. For voice streaming 7 kbps modem is enough. Applet has size 30K and low complexity. The demo version has limitation of duration of sounding - 30 sec. Applet provides voice streaming without needing either a plug-in in the browser or an audio server at the other end. No need for a time-consuming plug-in nor the hassle of installing and RE-installing it (and all the other plug-ins) every time you upgrade your browser. All Java-enabled browsers should be able to handle it.
