The VRE provides a robust and flexible foundation that
ish ardware independent, easily integrateable,a nd is
speaker-independent. It is a low level API set that
recognizes audio data from any source which can be
integrated with most exisiting applicaitons.
VRE grammars offer unprecedented flexibility and
power. The recognition is order independent with an
automatic out-of-vocabulary filter. User grammars are
run-time defined with available built-in grammars to
handle digits, currency and natural numbers. The VRE
will automatically produce pronounciation for any word
not currently in the over 110,000 word dictionary.
Each grammar can contain 2000+ recognition words or
phrases.
