A quick and simple method of connecting to your
favorite game server, which is running in the MUD
family. SimpleMU uses a modified Telnet protocol to
connect to servers such as TinyMUSH, PennMUSH,
AlloyMUSH and TinyMUX. There are a few game server
addresses included in the documentation, but for more
complete lists URL's are also provided for
downloading
lists of game servers worldwide. SimpleMU presents
you
with a dialog with hot-buttons and pull down windows
for connecting and playing a game. Server address's
can be added and saved so that a simple click on a
site will almost instantly connect you to the server.
You can log all text to a file, for study. A split
window interface provides an input window for sending
input to the server while reading data sent from the
other screen.
