ChildCentre - Version 1.8 Abstract The program was designed for automatic control of thetime a child spends playing his games during a day.Even if an adult is not near the child, Child Centrecontrols the total time and closes the program that wasrunning if the time limit is expired. Then Child Centredoes not allow to start programs during the rest of theday. Idea of realization The child runs his programs only from Child Centre.There should not be any child programs accessible onthe Windows desktop or Start menu. Before using theprogram, an adult enters in ChildCentre list ofprograms to be ran. Also the adult defines total time.The child can spend only that time, not more.When there is 10 minutes left to the end of limitedtime, Child Centre sounds 4 signals with intervals of 1second. When there is 5 minutes left, it sounds 5signals. When there is 1 minute left, it sounds 6signals. The last 10 seconds are followed with 10signals.The child has to finish the current game beforetime is out. If he does not do this, the game is closedby Child Centre. Then the child does not have access tothe games up to the end of the current day. The child has to be informed about sound signals -when and how many signals are sounded. It is necessaryto finish a game without problems. The rest time isindicated on the panel of Child Centre. Also there isgraphical indicator of the passed time. The time is being calculated only while a game isrunning. It is possible to have only one program ran.If you wish to start another program, you have to closethe current one. If to close itself Child Centre acurrent game is also closed automatically. So thenormal situation if Child Centre is ran while the childis playing games.
