The program has been created as common product for
surveillance hybrid platforms running at the same time
with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-cards, capture
boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web
interface with the equal look and functionality on the
local and distant pcs. Customers see MPEG coded picture
and have full management of the program via net that
security computer can be run without screen, keyboard,
and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure
drastically boosts reliability because all units
operate as independent software. If one unit freezes,
other parts keep on running. For instance if the
`record` module freezes, `watchdog` starts over it
instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because
they are viewing video through a `playback` component.
The program does `repeated` recording that the `disk
full` situation never happens. The recording can be
non-stop or it can be triggered by activity, human face
recognition, or by calendar. The software has
pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back
recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the
surveillance server as well as on distant workstation
via Web interface. The program does simultaneous
video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras
simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by
date, time or by face detected. All recorded
information can be encrypted and password protected.
