CoreSave - Version 2.02 Let CoreSave help to protect you from the inevitable computer malfunctions or disasters. This well-done utility saves your system configuration files and restores them when needed. It can assist in recovering from problems as minor as restoring a lost printer to as major as not being able to start Windows. Your PC's configuration is saved in two types of image files: Core and Boot. A Core image -- created by you -- saves your Registry, the program initiation files in your Windows folder, all users' configuration profiles, and your Start menu. Boot images are automatically generated each time you successfully start your computer. They're similar to Core images, but your Start menu isn't saved. CoreSave also creates its own emergency Startup diskette.
