Full text retrieval system with built-in API for developers. Search32 performs full-text search queries fast. Before searching you should create index files (very fast and easy) and then just type your words. It creates indexes in many types of text files (TXT, DOC, HTML and others). Search for whole words, parts of words or combinations of words joined with logical operations AND, OR and NOT. Supports proximity search (NEAR). View more than one line of source text or double-click to run an associated program (Notepad, Word, WordPerfect, etc.) to view the entire document. Browse HTML files with built-in HTML viewer. Unique multilingual capabilities. No limit to the number of files or the size of files to be indexed and searched. Automatic, on-the-fly, index updating - completely transparent for the user. The new version of Search32 is v.4.06 has capabilities to work with MS Word 2000 DOC and RTF files now. The MS Word has to be installed on the user computer.
