Deadlink Finder - Version 1.1 Deadlink Finder is a handy little utility that can reduce any dead-link clutter by verifying the entries in your Windows 95 Start menu. Unlike less-capable offerings, it will search both your folders and subfolders for program links, rather than just your folders alone. Program operation is quite simple and requires just a single mouse click to start the search routine. As the program finds links that reference deleted or moved files, it will prompt you to either delete or ignore the link -- nothing will be deleted without your action. When the utility has finished its scan of your system, you can manually delete any empty folders that might be left behind. Deadlink Finder is available as both a freeware and registered program. The freeware version will only scan and delete shortcuts. To find or remove any empty folders that are left behind, you'll need to have the registered version. A very useful System Information module is also included to provide you with a wealth of data about your system.
