MonitorIT - Version 3.5 MonitorIT is designed as a web-based, monitoring, alerting and reporting tool for managing availability and performance of servers, workstations, and network devices in IP based networksMonitorIT provides four monitoring components to accomplish its monitoring, and ties all the monitoring together with its alerting and reporting components.MonitorIT ServerWatch will poll one or more servers, running any OS, for user selected IP services of HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP, DNS, SQL, SNMP, PING and/or use a USER customizable request/response. The polling rate is user defined per server and service type, and Alert notifications can be defined per server and service type for failures. Response times and availability are tracked in the MonitorIT database and reports can be generated, including graphs, of response and availability for any time frame. There is no agent required on servers being monitored with the ServerWatch feature. And with ServerWatch, there is a discovery feature to go out and find the server/services based on an IP address range so it is extremely easy to set up and configure.MonitorIT SNMPWatch monitors SNMP compliant servers and network devices for SNMP Traps. You specify which SNMP Traps that are monitored, and the acceptable servers and network devices where they can originate. Optionally define alert notifications upon receipt of specific SNMP Traps.MonitorIT CounterWatch provides very comprehensive and detailed, agent based, Counter monitoring, alerting, reporting and charting capabilities for servers, workstations and desktops using Microsoft Windows98/ME, NT 4, or Windows 2000.MonitorIT EventLogWatch provides comprehensive, agent based monitoring, viewing and alerting of Windows NT 4 and 2000 Application, System and Security Event Logs. All of this is easily accessible remotely. Access the MonitorIT database to observe the monitoring, track alerts, watch server status, and run performance reports from anywhere you have Internet Explorer 5 (or better) and IP access to the MonitorIT server.
