Winip - Version 1.1 Allows internet users to access your computer via a free static host name (e.g. mycomputer.somedomain.com) even though you may have a dynamic IP address. This lets others access your computer the same way every time, instead of having to enter a different IP address every time you reconnect to the internet. With Winip, your machine will get a free fully qualified domain name. Your IP, even if dynamically assigned, may be reached while you are online through a single hostname, recognized on the whole internet. People may connect to your machine's FTP, WWW, IRC, or other server by using your new hostname.
