Personal Digital Assistants are no longer immune to
security threats. F-Secure Anti-Virus for Palm OS
provides strong protection against any known malware
for the Palm platform. F-Secure Anti-Virus for Palm OS
is the first anti-virus product offering on-device
protection with a continuous, fully automatic update
service and technical support. F-Secure Anti-Virus for
Palm OS consists of three main components. The PC
client is used for the automatic distribution of
Anti-Virus database updates. The anti-virus conduit
transfers updates from the host PC to the handheld. The
scanning application runs on the Palm OS handheld.

Features:
1) Runs locally on the device providing protection that
is always available.
2) Automatically scans and detects all known malware
(viruses,trojans etc.) after HotSync.
3) A scan can also be manually invoked e.g after
beaming.
4) Has an always up-to date anti-virus database pushed
automatically to the host PC and to the handheld at
HotSync.
5) Provides information on the infected files.

Note: Only when the application is purchased, will be
when the ability to update the virus datafiles from
the PC to the handheld will be available to the user.
