Visually Safe - Version 1.00 Have you ever wanted to put a password on a file? Now you can, with Visually Safe. Visually Safe is one of the most secure and reliable ways to password protect a file. Visually Safe can put passwords on any common Windows file such as: AVI, BMP, DOC, GIF, HTM, HTML, JPG, JPEG, JPE, MOV, MOOV, MP3, MPEG, MPG, PSD, RM, RAM, RTF, SHN, TXT, WMA, XLS and ZIP file formats. The program encrypts the file and will not decrypt and open it without the correct password. Once the correct password is supplied, Visually Safe will place a decrypted copy of the file in the temp directory, rename it with a new 19 character randomly generated name, and open it from that directory. After opened, it automatically deletes itself and from the recently viewed documents located in the Start menu if added. Visually Safe also tracks the date and time of attempted logins and break-ins. If such event would occur, Visually Safe will notify the user of the break-in attempt when the correct password is supplied.
