Heat Waves - Version 1.00 Demonstrates a kinetic optical illusion. It displays radially moving concentric rings on your computer's screen. To see the illusion, stare at the center of the rings for about 15 seconds. Then, quickly look at a picture or some text. For several seconds the picture or text will appear to be moving. The reason for this is that your motion-sensing nerves require a few seconds to relax. Thus, the object you observe will appear to be moving - just as the rings were moving.
